To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Stichting Industrie- en Handelsgebouwen Groningen (Groningen Foundation for Industrial and Commercial Buildings), 14 photographers were commissioned to create a photo series at companies that lease space from the foundation.
The assignment was open-ended, but the photographs were required to depict the company’s process in a series of three to five images.
These images were created at a reprographic center. I placed a pinhole camera inside the machines for a period of 30 minutes to one hour, attempting to create new worlds and spaces in the resulting images.
